This festival is a celebration of all things Star Wars and Sci-Fi related and is a fan-based festival that aims to capture, share and promote the magic of the Skellig Coast region and the importance of the Skellig Islands (Ahch-to Island) as the centre of the Jedi Universe. The festival is a combination of live action events, comic-con style showcase of Star Wars and Sci-Fi related items of interest and also local arts and crafts combined with an interactive global online aspect of the festival.

The main event of the Festival is the Gala Awards ceremony show casing the winners and entries to the May The 4th Sci-Fi Film Festival, the only one of it's kind in Ireland and with applications from around the world submitted.
