Steeped in history, Swan Island is built around a two hundred year old cottage, which has been lovingly restored and is now home to the famous Swan Island Restaurant. Headed by international Michelin Star chef, Stephen Hamill, Swan Island offers fine dining quality, using the best of fresh local produce at prices that will surprise. Stay on after your meal and enjoy a drink at the fireside in our lounge area. There may even be some traditional music at the weekends.

The activity centre, run by qualified instructors, provides a wide range of land and water sports and caters for all groups sizes and abilities. The marina and caravan/motorhome park are well serviced enabling visitors to enjoy a holiday or weekend break in this most beautiful of locations.

Facilities on site include restaurant, marina, caravan and motorhomes site, wireless broadband, fuel, grocery delivery to boats/motorhomes, kayaking, wakeboarding, power boating, historical boat trips, horse riding and trekking, archery, treasure hunts, boats for hire and tailored packages to suit your group.

Accessible by boat and by car, Swan Island Lakeside Centre is located midway between Carrick-on-Shannon, Cavan, Longford and Enniskillen. The marina can be found on the southern shore of Garadice Lake between Ballinamore and Haughton’s Shore on the Shannon Erne Waterway.
