The Cashel Heritage Centre, in County Tipperary, provides the visitor with a series of changing exhibitions. One of the exhibits is a large scale model of Cashel in the 1640’s that highlights the lesser known treasures of the town.
The Charters of Cashel, King Charles II 1663 and James II 1687, are also on permanent display. The audio commentary is in English, French, German, Irish, Italian and Spanish.
The Heritage Centre has a craft shop which stocks local crafts including Rossa Pottery and Winnie Looby textiles. A large selection of woollen sweaters, hats, scarves, linens, Cashel Blue Cheese, jams, preserves and a wide variety of books can also be purchased.
Admission to the Cashel Heritage Centre is free.
