Glendeer Pet Farm, (5 miles west of Athlone, exit 13 off M6, follow signs for Drum) is an interactive experience where people can feed, pet & hold some of the animals, which include deer, pot belly pigs, llamas, emu, ostrich, goats, donkeys, sheep, and lots more including the new arrivals monkeys, wallabies & tortoises. Glendeer is suitable for any weather as there is indoor & outdoor picnic & play areas, along with a large section of the animals undercover.
