Mulcahy's, is owned by the Higgins family who purchased the premises from Ned Mulcahy on his retirement in 1976. It has expanded and developed into a business which is now almost an institution rather than just a pub.
The premises has been honoured with seven Bord Failte food awards, and has been recognised as one of the "James Joyce" authentic Irish pubs in Ireland.
