Championship Golf

The Ryder Cup venue at The K Club has hosted the Smurfit Kappa European Open for many years, whilst the prestigious Irish Open has been held at Carton House, Baltray and Druids Glen.

Snapping at the heels of the more established courses are precocious youngsters such as The PGA National Ireland in Kildare and The Heritage in Co. Laois.

Throughout the region you will find courses of stunning quality and character like Glasson near Athlone on the shores of Lough Ree, or Esker Hills near Tullamore, carved from the unique esker landscape created more than 10,000 years ago.
