The Shandon Walk, City Centre Island Walk and South Parish Walk all start at Daunt’s Square and there are information panels and colour coded fingerposts (red walking man for Shandon Walk, orange walking man for City Centre Island Walk and blue walking man for South Parish Walk) along the way, as well as a brochure (downloadable below) to guide the visitor.
The University Walk is a new self-guided walking tour of the university area of Cork City. Tracing the development of the City from its medieval roots to its expansion as a hub of industry, the walk takes about one and a half hours to complete.
