There are a number of self guided walks that you can partake in within Cork City.
Fáilte Ireland and Cork City Council have come together to produce Flavours of Cork and Creative Cork, two downloadable audio iWalks which will let you in on the local secrets and colourful history of Ireland’s oft claimed “Real Capital”!
There is the Cork Civic Trust 20th Century Architecture Guided Walk with an audio guide and printed guide. The Shandon Walk, City Centre Island Walk and South Parish Walk all start at Daunt’s Square and there are information panels and colour coded fingerposts along the way, as well as a brochure to guide the visitor.
