The centre is located on the borders of counties Limerick, Tipperary and Cork in the heart of the region known as Ballyhoura.

Ireland's traditional preoccupation with horse riding is evident throughout Ireland's Shannon Region. The geography of the Region is ideally suited to horse riding throughout the entire year.
