Passengers can captain their own cruiser with Silver Line Cruisers, explore and experience the River Shannon at their own pace, stop where they want and go as they please. There are many pubs and restaurants and lively Irish culture from music to chats, passengers will be spoilt for choice on the Shannon corridor.
There is a choice of 2 – 12 berth cruisers which are available to hire for both weekly and short breaks and are operated from their base at Banagher, County Offaly. Their central location on the river makes it an ideal starting point for a cruising holiday. The terminal building and marina facility is located between the two great lakes of Lough Ree and Lough Derg and only one mile from the Grand Canal. The company is also within easy access from all major airports and ferry terminals and free car parking is provided if passengers are travelling by car. As no license is required to cruise the Shannon, on board tuition and navigation instruction is provided on arrival. A technical team and reception staff are always on hand and available to answer any queries that passengers may have.
Silver Line is a family owned company, so together with their high level of customer service, they also provide various services such as airport collections, pre ordering food list, outboard motor, fishing dinghies and bicycle hire. All their cruisers are equipped with a full inventory including all cooking utensils, bed linen, blankets, duvets, pillows and towels.
