Rookery Mews Apartments are located near the heart of Killarney Town Centre in Co Kerry. Owned by the O’Brien family, these self-catering apartments have one or two bedrooms. The first floor apartments have balconies and ground floor apartments are surrounded by gardens and garden furniture. All apartments have a fully fitted kitchen dining area/lounge. WIFI is freely available. The one-bed apartment offers a bedroom with one double bed and one single bed. There is separate bathroom with shower. The two-bedrooms apartments have one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a double bed and the second with three single beds or one double bed and one single bed. To facilitate couples apartments can be also be fitted upon request with two double beds, one in each room. Fresh bed linen is supplied and beds are made up upon arrival. Bath towels and tea towels are also provided free of charge. Multi-channel TV and DVD players are available in all apartments and guests can choose from a selection of DVDs available at reception. Other amenities include clock radio, hairdryer and electric blankets for those chillier winter nights For families with children, cots, cot linen and highchairs are also available upon request at no extra charge. There is also a children’s playground and a large play area for football, basketball or practicing golf. Babysitting can also be arranged. Guests will also benefit from the on-site reception area where they can pick up information on local attractions and activities, including the INEC Event Centre, travel itineraries, sightseeing or walking tours, bicycle hire, family entertainment and live music shows. Muckross House and Gardens and Ross Castle are also highlights for many visitors. Bicycle storage racks are provided as well as private residents’ car parking and laundry rooms with washing machines and dryers. Guests can also enjoy reduced rates at the nearby leisure centre. If pre-arranged, guests can be met at the train or bus station.
