Saturday Saturday 19 August 2017
Venue: Donnybrook Bus Station
Enjoy a gentle stroll along the Dodder river as you take in the fascinating history of the mills, old buildings and wildlife.
With so much to view, including the old girder bridge, Wesleyan Church and the beaver hat factory, as well as packhorse bridge and the old Dublin laundry chimney, you’ll be gasping for that cup of coffee at the end of the walk where you can enjoy a rest to chat about all that you’ve seen.
As part of National Heritage Week, the Dodder Walk History of Mills is just one of the many events taking place across the country to preserve and promote our natural, built and cultural heritage.
