Ireland BikeFest provides a getaway bikers' weekend like no other. This festival has evolved into a well-oiled event over the years, attracting bike enthusiasts in their tens of thousands from all over the world annually.
A free, open biker festival, this three-day motorcycle and free music extravaganza takes place across Ireland's June Bank Holiday weekend. A thrilling social event for the biker community from over 20 countries globally, the festival also welcomes families and enthusiasts. Visitors do not even have to own a bike; they can just bask in the glory of some slick, well-built touring machines and enjoy the fun and festival atmosphere in the Bike Village.
The festival is packed with motorcycle events, activities and attractions with three stages of free live entertainment day and night featuring international artists.
But the real attraction of this fiesta is the opportunity to ride the twisting tracks around the mountains, high above the lakes, running alongside the sea on world-famous routes such as the Ring of Kerry and the Wild Atlantic Way.
The festival's chosen charity is Muscular Dystrophy Ireland, who will again benefit from the generosity of thousands of bikers in 2017.
Other festival highlights include free Harley Davidson demo rides, Irish Harley Davidson dealers, a family fun area, traders, festival food, the custom bike show, a parade and novelty dog show.
