09 - Sunday 11 June 2017
Venue: Killarney

Ramble through some of the most breath-taking scenes you are ever likely to witness as the Killarney Walking Festival urges your to tie up your bootlaces and hit the hills.

There will be a delightful collection of walks for you to enjoy, no matter what level you are at. If you're looking for a steep challenge, literally, maybe a walk to the highest peak in Ireland at Carrantuohill will be for you. If you fancy a lighter walk, but you have a passion for the past, you might want to check out Ross Castle, whose chequered past involves the O'Donoghue Ross Chieftains and Oliver Cromwell, amongst others.

Purple Mountain, Mangerton Mountain, and the Ridge of the Reeks will all welcome walkers, offering up their vistas and histories to new visitors.

Enjoy the drama of Killarney's natural beauty as you tread among the flora and fauna...
