RaboDirect Pro12 Rugby: Connacht v Glasgow Warriors match takes place at Galway Sportsground, College Road, on Saturday, 18th February, beginning at 17.30.

The year, 2011, was an exceptional year for Connacht Rugby with the newly-branded RaboDirect PR012, inclusion in the Heineken Cup for the first time, and 15 new players in the squad.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there: There’s a new Professional Games Board overseeing the work of the Connacht Branch and to date their efforts have seen developments such as the covering of the Clan Terrace, providing shelter for over 2,500 supporters, addition of new bars and catering facilities, and increase in Season Ticket sales to over 3,000 people and a superb matchday experience at the Sportsground.

The new players have settled in really well, gelling as a team and displaying some sublime skills under the direction of Head Coach, Eric Elwood, Assistant Coach, Dan McFarland and his management team, including former Great Briton Rugby League player, Mike Forshaw (Defence), Australian legend Billy Millard (Backs) and long-serving Team Manager, Tim Allnutt.
