The 12th annual Skerries Traditional Music Weekend will be held in 2013 and promises another great festival with top-class musicians, singers and dancers in warm & friendly settings where the music can be heard and enjoyed, where the sessions are accessible, open & welcoming, where there is a good tutor to student ratio at the workshops and where there are several intimate recitals throughout the weekend to complement the opening concert.
Over the years this festival weekend has earned the respect of the visiting musicians and is rated highly by them ; the town has been found to be very welcoming by many of our visitors. The weekend activities will run from 8pm Friday until Sunday evening and will feature both local and well-known guest musicians & dancers. There are several good accomodation options in the town and all activities are within walking distance.
