The 2012 International Horse Trials is an Olympic qualifier attracting top class competitors. Dressage takes place on Thursday and Friday, Cross Country on Saturday with Cross Country and Show Jumping on Sunday.
You don't however have to be an equestrian guru to enjoy the weekend. The Country Fair runs from Friday to Sunday and the shopping village hosts over 50 stands. Exhibiting a range of products from clothing to crafts there is something for everyone. Enjoy the picnic area by the water fence or feast on the delicious produce from the many artisan food producers and good food outlets. There are also a number of hospitality areas and bars open to everyone.
Family entertainment includes pony rides, a hound parade, archery, carnival stands, bucking bronco, bouncy castles, a pet farm, face painting, dog competitions and much more. Look no further than this County Meath event for a fun Bank Holiday day out.
