For one long weekend at the end of February the Aran island of Inis Mor becomes Craggy Island and plays host to fans of Father Ted. Events include the Lovely Girls Contest, Ted's Got Talent and The Craggy Cup. There is also the 'Trip to the Mainland', where Galway City stages various Father Ted events in the week leading up to Tedfest.
