The Shindig Traditional Music and Set Dance Festival Weekend

The Shindig Festival is a fun packed weekend of great Irish music, set dancing, sean-nós dancing, singing, storytelling and the occasional pint of Guinness.
The weekend consists of a series of workshops on all aspects of traditional Irish sean-nós dancing and set dancing céilís with some of Ireland's best céilí bands, which include two céilís with the Johnny Reidy Céilí Band and also the Brian Boru Céilí Band.
You will learn everything from the basic steps, movements and styles, to enable you to participate in the old style house dancing or indeed the advanced battering steps used for the West Clare battering style of dancing or Connemara Sean-Nos dancing.
So come along and enjoy a weekend of great Irish music & dance sessions.
