Venue: Tullamore
The St. Patrick's Day Parade in Tullamore is now a well established parade with 1,500 participants and up to 10,000 onlookers. There is always a good selection of bands and several other musical entries.
It is a community parade with participants representing the many aspects of society including sports, youth, culture, drama, schools, heritage, animal welfare, residents associations, community groups, vintage and local businesses. There are many very entertaining entries based on topical issues – all competing for several category prizes!
The 2012 parade will kick off at 11.30am.
