It is situated on the 47km Bluestack Way (a way-marked walking route), the scenic Bluestack Drive and Lough Eske Drive; making it an ideal location for touring the North West of Ireland.
This cottage features three double ensuite bedrooms and one twin ensuite bedrooms, accommodating up to eight guests. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen, a spacious bright dining area with traditional stone fireplace, and a living room with oak floor and stunning views of Lough Eske. Bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge and a cot and high chair are available.
Friary Brae is less than five minutes from Harvey's Point Country Hotel and Lough Eske Castle Hotel and is the ideal location for attending weddings and functions in either of these renowned establishments.
Friary Brae Cottage is a great starting point to visit Yeats Country and Benbulben in County Sligo, Glencar Waterfall and the lakes in County Leitrim or Sliabh Liag and the rugged coast of West Donegal. You are also in an ideal location to experience the sheer splendour of Glenveagh National Park, Errigal and Muckish Mountains and the north coast of Northern Ireland including the World Heritage Site of The Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Bushmills Distillery and forgetting the ancient City of Derry.
