Limerick city centre, home to the imposing historical monument that is King John’s Castle, is a 40-minute drive from the house. Great activities are also situated nearby, including angling on Lough Derg, horse riding at Clonrea Equestrian Centre and golfing at East Clare Golf Club. Day-trippers can make for the renowned beauty of the Cliffs of Moher and the rugged Burren, both fine examples of Clare's unique beauty and easily reached from the home here.
