Situated along the Wicklow Way walking route, Knockree Hostel reopened in April 2008 after an extensive refurbishment. It boasts a pleasant location at the bottom of Knockree, overlooking the Glencree Mountains.
The hostel can accommodate up to 76 people in a variety of ensuite and standard rooms, including family rooms and a honeymoon suite. Many rooms have spectacular views of the surrounding area.
Knockree Hostel, which is wheelchair accessible, also has a meeting room, drying room, restaurant for groups (on request), self-catering kitchen and car park. Guests can make use of free WiFi in public areas and bicycle rentals for exploring the region on two wheels.
Knockree is situated just 7km from the lovely village of Enniskerry. It is an ideal location for an activity-based vacation, with many opportunities for walking, fishing, horse riding and water sports.
