Mill Road Farm is a working dairy farm situated in a quiet rural area overlooking the sea and beautiful Saltee Islands, near the charming fishing village of Kilmore Quay and only twenty minutes from Rosslare Harbour. In addition to its dairy enterprise, Mill Road breeds horses, and guests are very welcome to see around the farm or just take it easy and relax in the beautiful garden, a haven from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The farm offers bed and breakfast accommodation and four-star, self-catering cottages to travellers desiring more independence during their holiday in County Wexford.
Open throughout the year, the cottages sit in a converted barn that has been furnished and decorated to a very high standard. These fully equipped cottages range in size and can sleep between two and four people. Each includes TV, DVD player, free WiFi, private off-road parking and free boat launching at Kilmore Quay Marina. Additionally, linen and towels are supplied, while a child’s cot and high chair are available on request. Mill Road Farm is pet friendly.
The farm is only 1.5km from the quaint fishing village of Kilmore Quay and within easy reach of shops, pubs and restaurants. Guests can chose from angling, sailing, scuba diving, and boat trips around the Saltee Islands. Or they can just relax and watch the seals on the slip-way of the marina. Mill Road Farm is also an ideal base to tour the South East. as it is within easy reach of the historical town of Wexford and Rosslare Harbour, the gateway to Europe.
