Local heritage attractions include Castlefreke Castle, Galley Head lighthouse and the Portal dolman and standing stones. Additionally, the picturesque village of Rosscarbery is less than 2km from the complex. This village is a hive of activity throughout the summer months offering boating, golf, shops, pubs and restaurants. There’s also a playground and paddle boat hire.
