Found on the beautiful Hook Head Peninsula, Seascape is the perfect self-catering accommodation for anyone who enjoys and appreciates the sea. With stunning views of the coastline, Seascape offers a truly idyllic escape in Slade, County Wexford.

Situated in the peaceful little fishing village of Slade on the renowned Hook Head Peninsula, Seascape boasts a unique location for a self-catering holiday. The home is situated directly opposite the quaint little working harbour and overlooking an expanse of sea and coastline to the front as far as the eye can see.

Inside Seascape, there is an upstairs sitting room, which takes full advantage of the coastal views. The house is spacious and can comfortably accommodate six people. Since the upstairs part of the house is given entirely to the sitting room all four bedrooms are located downstairs as are the bathroom, shower room and fully equipped kitchen/dining room. There is hot and cold water in all of the bedrooms. The house has two TVs, one of which has a DVD player. There is also a small patio area to the rear of the house and a garden further to the back.

On the Hook Peninsula, each season offers something different to visitors. A windswept stroll to the Hook Lighthouse in mid-winter can be a truly exhilarating experience. During the mackerel season, shore anglers flock to The Rocks in Slade, hoping to bring home a supply of fish. People who enjoy bird watching or those who like to explore fauna, flora and fossils should be able to find some interesting samples all around the limestone cliffs. There are many beaches within a 5km radius of Seascape, with one little cove on the doorstep and a sub-aqua club about 100m up the road. The area is steeped in history and there are many places of historical interest to visit such as Hook Lighthouse and Visitor Centre, and the abbeys of Dunbrody and Tintern.

Many advances are being made all around the Hook Peninsula, to take advantage of the areas suitability for sea sports. Adventure enthusiasts can find sea cave kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and snorkelling in Fethard on Sea. Those who like to play golf will be happy to know Abbey Golf Course is just 10km from the house. Abbey Crazy Golf and Abbey Footee Golf are also available here. There is a fine selection of restaurants within a 15km radius which cater both for simple menus and fine dining.
