Situated in the heart of County Louth, only 45 minutes from Dublin, 15 minutes from Dundalk and less than half an hour from Newry, Ardee is one of the premier courses in the North East. This challenging 18-hole championship parkland course will prove a test and a pleasure for golfers for all abilities. Originally an Eddie Hackett design, the course had been extended and remodelled by Declan Brannigan and new measures 6,490yd from the back tees. All fairways are lined by a variety of trees and water comes into play on nine of the 18 holes.
The club boasts a new clubhouse incorporating beautifully appointed locker rooms and showers together with a fully stocked pro shop selling all the latest clothing and state of the art equipment. Visitors are always made to feel most welcome in the first floor bar and restaurant where a wide range of refreshments and meals are constantly on tap. The more adventurous should try the steaks – legendary!
Visitors are always welcome and rates are very reasonable. Buggy and Trolley hire are also available.
