Nash 19 is an award-winning restaurant, café and shop located in the heart of Cork City’s business district, just a stone’s throw from the English Market, which provides many ingredients for the restaurant. The café, which offers free WiFi, opens at 7:30am, filling the street with the scent of buttermilk scones, bacon and fresh coffee. Nash 19 Restaurant is located at the rear of the premises and prepares dishes using locally produced and artisan ingredients. The scones, breads, tarts and cakes remain recipes that have stood the test of time and never change, but the menu, which changes daily, reflects the seasons and what comes in the door from the land, sea or local producer. The chef is happy to advise on any dietary requirements.Finally, to take some Nash 19 home, visitors can drop into the shop. Take away dishes from the restaurant are available as well as fresh produce and a collection of various Good Food Ireland products. The Nash 19 shop acts as a direct link between small, artisan producers in the Cork area and the public.
