The Owennageragh River can be found joining the Shournagh River just west of Blarney in County Cork. The river holds a good stock of brown trout and the usual methods used are fly and spin.

Open season runs from 15 February until 12 October and fishing is regarded as free, however it is best to enquire locally before fishing in this area.
