County Waterford offers a dazzling 147km coastline, with 49 beaches, beautiful river valleys, lakes and two dramatic ranges of very accessible mountains, all of which can be seen on a cycling tour. Some recommend tours are highlighted below:

Highlights: Reginald’s Tower, The House of Waterford Crystal, Waterford Museum of Treasures -The Granary Building
2. Waterford-Portlaw-Carrick-On-Suir (40miles/64km).
Highlights: Curraghmore Estate, Portlaw and Ormond Castle, Carrick-On-Suir.
3. Waterford-Bunmahon-Kill (28miles/44km).
Highlights: Coastal scenery and Copper Coast - The Copper Coast gets its name from the 19th Century copper mines that lie at its heart. It comprises some 25km of spectacular coastline consisting of scalloped beaches and coves buttressed and enclosed by rocky headlands. Oceans, volcanoes, deserts and ice sheets all combined to create the rocks which provide the physical foundation of the natural and cultural landscapes of the Copper Coast.
