The Cliffs View Café offers self service with two cashiers within the 120 seat restaurant. Soup, sandwiches, and snacks are available from the mid station. Hot food is served from the main servery at the back of the café. Help yourself, pay at the till, and find a seat with a view.
At the Cliffs View Café, the emphasis is on serving simple, home cooked food that showcases the finest local ingredients. They use the best of local produce offering you a taste of County Clare with local seafood, vegetables, cheese, ice cream, smoked fish, dairy, and baked goods. The meat is sourced and traceable to County Clare farms.
Whether you desire a warm cup of coffee accompanied by a freshly baked scone in the morning, a comforting bowl of chowder or the soup of the day for lunch, or a satisfying lunch plate, their menu ensures you won’t leave hungry. Delight in a hot chocolate on colder days or indulge in an ice cream cone on sunnier ones. And for those magical summer evenings, treat yourself to one of their homemade desserts while enjoying the sunset.
If you have special dietary requirements, the Cliffs View Café can provide what you need from their range of gluten free, dairy free, lactose free and vegan products. Many of the prepared dishes are also vegetarian. Staff will be happy to assist and answer any questions you may have.
Why not enjoy a picnic at the outdoor tables. Takeaway coffees, teas and packed lunches are provided in fully compostable disposal cups and packaging that can go straight into the brown bin once you are finished. Salads and hot dishes can also be served in compostable takeaway containers.
The Cliffs View Café is focused on the environment with segregated waste management, compostable packaging, local suppliers, and even reusing old coffee grounds in local gardens.
Please note that seating availability at The Cliff View Café is limited and they cannot accept reservations from May to September.
