Turn back time in the beautiful Georgian heritage town of Birr and revel in its contemporary culture with a dynamic range of vintage and modern events. The programme includes the fantastic opening parade, an arts and craft market, the olde time traditional fair, a busking competition, free children's events, the antique and fine art fair, donkey derby, live music and sporting events for all ages, pub entertainment and a spectacular fireworks display.
The arts play a central role in this festival with a large number of artists exhibiting in various venues across the town along with contemporary dance performances, film, music and lunchtime plays.
