Looped Walks

The walk starts at the northern end of the seafront promenade in Strandhill. This relatively remote walk passes the early Christian site of Killaspugbrone Church and follows sandy, stony and gravel path through a variety of coastal habitats including sand dunes, salt marsh and pine woodland around Sligo Airport runway, returning on roadside footpaths, with magnificent views of Ben Bulben, Knocknarea and Sligo Bay.
