Facilities At Red Cottage : Booking office for lessons and equipment hire. Surf display area (test centre for Circle One - try before you buy boards) Separate male and female Indoor changing areas. Shower/toilet. Lecture room, tea & coffee facilities. Large outdoor decks with sunshine.

A Typical Lesson with Oceanics : General format of the 10am lesson for example is: 9:50am Arrive at Oceanics, meet, greet and welcomed. Complete registration form (just takes 5mins, not too detailed). 10am Gather on the deck for a safety talk and introduction to your instructor. All persons will be sized, given wetsuits, booties, gloves and hood (depending on the time of year). Change into wetsuits in allocated indoor changing areas. 10:15am back on deck for land based instruction (A good time for photos). 15 minute lesson and it's time to hit the waves. Walk to beach 50m. 10:30am a quick practice on the beach and then together with the instructor, everybody enters the water where the fun begins and further instruction takes place. 11:45am back to base, shower off and change. Have a chat.

Direction : Travel ten kilometres until you come to a large roundabout on the outskirts of the town of Tramore. Then take the first left turn off the roundabout, towards "The Strand". Follow the road past Fitzmaurices Caravan Park, Seafield Holiday Homes, Crobally House on the left and Tramore Holiday Villas and Pebble Beach Holiday Homes on the right. Continue towards the strand. Oceanics Surf School is located in the Red Cottage on the right hand side of this road, opposite the entrance gates to the Atlantic View Caravan Park, just twenty metres from the beach.
