Travel back in time to Georgian Ireland and see some of the estate's original features such as the galleried kitchen, the vaulted stables and the lodge. Meander around the walled garden and discover horticultural practices and garden architecture from the 1740s right up to the present day.

Spend some time in the Famine Museum on the grounds of the house, view original documents from the Strokestown Park collection and read letters written by tenants on the Strokestown Estate at the time of the famine.

Make a night of it and book a stay in the restored servants' quarters. Choose from two and three-bedroom courtyard houses, it's the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing break. Enjoy a tasty meal in the on-site restaurant and appreciate the authentic setting, it was once the estate's granary.
