Bad Sunday/Incensed

08 - Sunday 10 December 2017
Venue: Smock Alley Theatre

Two brilliant new works of theatre are enjoying the debuts they deserve at Smock Alley Theatre this season. Don't miss Bad Sunday and Incensed, both from Black Box to Red Carpet Theatre company, as they take to the stage.

The first work, Bad Sunday, plays out Mark Wale's comedy about an innocent Sunday Drive that turns into a farce.

A very quirky Dublin family - a bunch of happy misfits - try to enjoy a sunny August day, piling into a 1966 Ford Zephyr together. All kinds of accidents and incidents befall them, with hilarious consequences.

Following Bad Sunday, Incensed tells the story of three women, attending a man's funeral. It turns out that the man, now six feet under, unites them all. Cue strange coincidences and weird stories.

This one act play employs wild deer, €5000 and a string of lovers in order to concoct a brilliantly haywire plot. Sounds intriguing, doesn’t it?

Enjoy these fresh new plays at Smock Alley Theatre.
