30 April - Tuesday 30 July 2019
Venue: The Library Project

1 MAY-31 JULY 2019

This year will see the 10th edition of PhotoIreland Festival, bringing to Dublin an ambitious programme running from May to July. May represents the opening of the main exhibitions at The Library Project, Temple Bar, and at Rathfarnham Castle, with works by Luis Alberto Rodriguez, Benedetta Casagrande, Leonardo Falascone, Lucie Khakhoutian, Clare Lyons, and Yvette Monahan.

June will be dedicated to an extended educational programme with practical workshops, talks and other activities aimed at all age groups and all backgrounds. The fireworks are reserved for 4th July, when PhotoIreland Foundation will open the pop-up project entitled the 'Museum of Contemporary Photography of Ireland', in Dublin city centre. With 2000m2 space, it will offer visitors exciting photographic shows from local and international artists, and will propose you to enjoy a selection of participative events.

It is a special year for Photography in Ireland, celebrating the 10th anniversary of Ireland’s International Festival of Photography & Image Culture, and the beginning of the long term project named The Museum of Contemporary Photography of Ireland.
