Dromagowlane House B&B enjoys a prided location on the Beara Peninsula and is an ideal base for touring West Cork and South Kerry. Travel over the Healy Pass, which cuts across the spine of the Beara and is one of the most famous famine roads. At the end of the Beara is Dursey Island connected by Ireland's only cable car, which is an unforgettable experience to tell your friends about. Take a short boat trip to Garnish Island, famous for its Italianate gardens or visit Bere Island with its military history. There are three golf courses within 30 minutes as well as horse riding, bicycle hire and kayak hire all available. For the keen or aspiring fisherman there is a tackle and bait shop on site with free rod and reel hire for guests.
