Erris Head House is situated at the foot of the renowned Erris Head Loop Walk in Belmullet, County Mayo overlooking the Wild Atlantic Ocean. Set on a working farm with views across the rolling mountains and down to the sea from the ground floor bedrooms.
Spend your evenings in the sitting room settled on the sofas and reminisce about the day's events, whilst the TV hums in the background. A large brick inglenook fireplace rests in the centre of the room and houses a wood burning stove.
To the front of the cottage is an enclosed lawn and patio area with a selection of seating.
While you're in the area, try visiting Ballycroy National Park which is hugely popular for walking and cycling opportunities. Take a day trip towards Céide Fields, a Neolithic site and has history which dates back over 5000 years with fantastic views across the sea cliffs. Visit Belmullet or Castlebar and try some traditional Irish food at one of their eateries.
