Geraghty’s Farmyard Pods are located on the outskirts of the coastal Gaeltacht town perched on the Mullet Peninsula in Belmullet. Geraghty’s Farmyard has passed through the hands of four generations of Geraghty’s. The farmyard has reinvented itself several times since the early 1800s. The stand alone timber frame pods located along the Wild Atlantic Way, facing views of Achill Island and other majestic mountains and Blacksod Bay.
The self-catering accommodation allows the guest to be at one with nature while sleeping in style. Each pod contains a fitted bed and sofa bed, which can sleep up to four; each pod also has an individual en suite bathroom with toilet, sink and electric showers. There is also a separate kitchen facility, with all amenities required plus two additional shower units.
They offer peace and quiet but also easy access to enjoy food and drinks locally, with Belmullet town being no more than 10 minutes walk, which offers restaurants, bars and grocery shops. Guests might also like to self cater and stay on site to dine at the provided picnic tables while taking in the stunning scenery.
