Harkaway Cottages are traditional stone self-catering cottages found in a courtyard setting near Castletownroche, County Cork. The property comprises three groups of semi-detached cottages, each named after the families who farmed the land since the early 1800s.

There are one-, two- and three-bedroom cottages available. The interiors are decorated to a modern standard while the chosen materials and colours maintain the traditional cosy cottage feel. The courtyard of the cottages has a laundry room, and the coach house has been converted into a games room with pool table, air hockey, football table and radio. This is an ideal place to meet with other guests. Additionally, at the rear of the cottages there is a barbecue/patio area and a children's playground to ensure hours of fun for visitors of all ages.

Harkaway is located about 10km from Mallow Town and two miles from the picturesque village of Castletownroche. Centrally positioned in Munster, the property is just one hour from Cork, Limerick and Killarney. It is also ideally located for hill walking on the Ballyhoura or Galtee mountains and only 15km from the Ballyhoura Mountain Biking course. Angling on the River Blackwater is just a short distance away, with a stretch of the famous river available to guests of the cottages. Avid golfers will also be thrilled, as there are four courses within a 15km radius.
