Seisnaun is a beautiful country home on an elevated site overlooking Drumcliffe Bay and church and the burial place of William Butler Yeats, one of Ireland's most famous poets. It is situated in north Sligo, close to Rathcormac Village, signposted off Donegal road N15 (near Rathcormac) and 4.5km from Sligo Town in the heart of the beautiful Yeats countryside. This is a very scenic and tranquil location, ideal as a touring base or for country, beach or hill walks.
Nearby beaches include Rosses Point, Lissadell, Streedagh, Mullaghmore and Strandhill. Nearby mountains include Knocknarea, Benbulben and the Dartry Range.
In Rosses Point, which is five minutes drive from here, there is an 18-hole championship golf course, also excellent restaurants and with pubs close by. Sligo is 2.5 to 3 hours drive from Dublin and 60km from Knock (Ireland West Airport).
The Wild Atlantic Way with breathtaking scenery and unspoilt countryside runs right past the door of Seisnaun bed and breakfast situated between the villages of Rathcormac and Rosses Point in north Sligo. There are also excellent restaurants close by.
