The accommodation comprises three bedrooms, two of which have a shared ensuite bathroom. The cosy living room contains a wood-burning stove, TV and DVD player, while the kitchen and dining area is fully equipped with washing machine, dryer, electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. The kitchen area opens up onto a large conservatory, which is a very sunny location. The cottage also features oil central heating and a lovely garden.

This is an ideal base for touring the heritage area of Wexford, which offers a wide variety of activities to do and see, all within a 30-minute drive. There are championship golf courses, fishing, water activities, pony trekking, a quad adventure centre and sandy beaches. For those less active, there is so much to see and enjoy, such as Johnstown Castle and the Irish Agriculture Museum, which is set on 20 hectares of ornamental grounds. The nearby John F. Kennedy Arboretum has a vast collection of trees, shrubs and rhododendrons, and covers 252 hectares with panoramic views. Quite close is the birthplace of John F. Kennedy's great grandfather. Also connected is Dunbrody Famine Ship on the quay in New Ross port.
