Angling Belturbet
Belturbet, Co. Cavan
Belturbet is located on the main road from Dublin to Enniskillen in County Cavan. It is a very popular destination for anglers fishing for wild and stocked trout, as well as roach and hybrids.

Belturbet is located beside the River Erne in County Cavan. The Belturbet Trout Anglers' Club has carried out extensive improvements to the river in a three-quarter mile stretch upstream from Kilconny Bridge. The fishing is for wild and stocked trout and is fly fishing only.

There are reported to be other good stretches for trout fishing upstream, as well as at Cornadara, Pogue's Ford, and Baker's Bridge.
