Cavan Calling Homecoming Festival will take place in County Cavan from 27 – 30 July 2023. The global Cavan family is invited to come home for an exciting celebration of Cavan, its people, culture, history, and landscape.
Join them for a full weekend of activities, with a spectacular concert from legendary rockers The Boomtown Rats among the highlights.
Other events lined up are a Street Carnival, Food Markets, a Military Show at Cavan Museum, Fireworks Display, acclaimed Famine play ‘In the Midst of Plenty’, a special two-day Ancestry and Genealogy Conference, Geopark events, walks, heritage events, concerts by Vltava String Quartet, African Gospel Choir Dublin, The Percy French Troubadours, Marcus Magee and the Hollaw Men and much more.
