Ballyconnell is located on the Shannon-Erne Waterway, which links the River Shannon with the River Erne. Killywilly Lake and Tomkin Road Lake both have good shore fishing for roach, bream, hybrids, pike, and perch.

Cuillaghan Lake has 35 stands, including a 25-stand match length. There is good fishing here, and boats are available for enhanced pike fishing.
