Gallagher’s of Bunratty is a seafood restaurant located in the medieval village of Bunratty in County Clare.

Gallagher’s of Bunratty has gained a reputation for an inimitable fine dining experience, using fresh fish from the Atlantic, some of the best local Irish produce and a highly regarded collection of wines and spirits.

Established over 25 years, Gallagher’s is renowned for its attention to detail when it comes to food, service and ambiance. Housed in an original thatched cottage a stone’s throw from the historic Bunratty Castle, it received a tasteful décor update in recent years that reflects its simple and honest approach to fine dining.

The menu changes seasonally, and is complemented beautifully by a hand picked selection of fine wines and spirits. Each dish is expertly crafted by a team of dedicated chefs, including the nightly specials, which include a salmon rillettes, smoked in house and served with dill and gherkin crème fraiche and baby cucumbers, Irish rock oysters, served with a classic glass of Guinness or Japanese style with pickled ginger, wasabi and soy sauce or a pan fried halibut with lemon and crab gnocchi, garlic spinach, ratatouille and shallot butter sauce.

A visit to Gallagher’s of Bunratty is a must for locals and visitors alike, a fine dining experience that is truly unforgettable.
