Knockerra Lough

Knockerra Lough is a 50-acre lake located to the north-east of Kilrush, County Clare. It holds a fair stock of small wild brown trout and fishes best in April and May.

Knockerra Lough is located just outside the village of Kilrush in County Clare. It provides good fishing for brown and rainbow trout. It can be fished from the bank and the fishing is regarded as free.

Open season runs from 1 March to 30 September.
