Lough Donnell, Annagheeragh River is located along the County Claire coast in Milltown Malbay. It is an inflowing river that can give good sea trout fishing at dusk for about one mile upstream from Lough Donnell in June and July.
Access to Lough Donnell is via a secondary road on the north bank and then south along the County Clare coast. There is a car park at this point.
In June and July the river can give good sea trout fishing up upstream from the lough. The rest of the river can give fair to good sea trout fishing up as far as Moyglass Bridge.
The fishing is regarded as free and open season runs from 1 March to 30 September.
