The Clonakilty International Guitar Festival is a celebration of the guitar. It is not starch-collared or stuffy-nosed; from virtuosos to noodlers, all are welcomed and exalted!

The Festival is run by a not-for-profit voluntary organisation of music lovers and we are very proud of the rich, relaxed, educational, exciting & artistic environment our festival creates in our beautiful seaside town.

It consists of a number of headline performances over the course of 10 days from world-class Irish and International artists. Woven around these performances is a free session trail encompassing a diverse range of venues in Clonakilty, including pubs, the library, the butcher's shop, the parish hall, the church and the streets themselves.
